Night of Jazz on Tap for March 4

Batavia Music Buffs promise a night of dancing, live entertainment and food—all for a good cause.

The second annual Night of Jazz will be held 6-10 p.m. Friday, March 4, thanks to the Batavia High School Music Buffs.

The dinner dance will be held at the Pipefitters Banquet Hall, at the corner of Butterfield and Church roads. Participants will enjoy an evening of dancing to music provided by the Batavia High School Jazz Bands.

Tickets may be ordered online at bataviamusicbuffs.org. Admission is $25 for adults, $15 for students and children.

The Batavia Music Buffs support the music programs of the Batavia school system. Night of Jazz is the group's largest fundraiser of the year. This year, proceeds will help pay for new marching band uniforms and choir robes—neither of which have been replaced in the last 20 years or so.
