Search Continues for Missing 14-Year-Old St. Charles Girl
Police and volunteers were out Sunday putting up ribbons and looking for the girl.

The search for a 14-year-old St. Charles girl missing since Wednesday night continued on Sunday as police and volunteers scoured parks, apartment complexes and business districts from Main Street to Randall Road. The searchers, however, did not find Emily Czajkowski.
Deputy Police Chief David Kintz told the Kane County Chronicle that police reviewed video from a Randall Road business but the video did not include footage of the girl.
Purple and yellow ribbons were tied to signs and street lamps in St. Charles, Geneva, Campton Hills and other spots in the Fox Valley by moms, dads and children as a show of support during their search for Emily.

Emily Czajkowski was last seen after she was dropped off for a dance class at Pottawatomie Community Center at about 6:35 p.m. on July 22. She never attended the class and was seen on video surveillance leaving the building while talking on her cell phone, according to a St. Charles Police Department press release.
Soon after, she posted a message to friends on a social media site that said she intended to hurt herself by unknown means, according to the news release. That message was quickly deleted.
