Construction was underway as of Monday when workers were in the process of installing one-way signs, removing existing pavement striping and installing new striping along Wilson Street, officials said.
Installing a curbed bump at the northeast corner of Wilson and River streets is in the plan for the project, but it's currently delayed while Batavia's contractor waits for construction materials to become available, officials said.
