Trick Or Treat, Mother Nature: Halloween Forecast For Batavia

Are we in for rain or shine this Halloween? Check out the latest Batavia trick-or-treating weather forecast.

BATAVIA, IL — Before the town's cutest witches and goblins take to Batavia streets in search of Halloween's sweetest bounty, it's a good idea for parents to check out what Mother Nature has in store for our community's annual trick-or-treating festivities.

Trick-or-treating in Batavia is planned from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31. Considering the event is just days away, there's a good chance we might luck out when it comes to the weather.

As you head out on Sunday evening, expect a high of 52, a low of 36 and a 12 percent chance of rain.

This year, along with trick-or-treating on Sunday, Batavia residents can attend the annual Halloween-themed BatFest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. People will be able to trick-or-treat at downtown businesses, see the Mothers' Club Parade and check out the pumpkin bowl, among other activities.

If you want a bit more reassurance on the trick-or-treating forecast, the National Weather Service forecast calls for much of the same. Saturday, expect partly sunny weather with a high hear 59. Sunday, the forecast shows sunny with a high near 56 and a low around 37 at night.
