Wilson Street To Temporarily Close For Essential Sanitary Work: City
The closure is expected to last 10 hours on both Saturday and Sunday, Batavia officials said.
BATAVIA, IL — A section of Wilson Street will close this weekend for "essential sanitary and storm sewer connection work," Batavia officials said.
Developer Pulte Homes will helm the construction, happening from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 2-3. The work will require Wilson Street to close between Van Nortwick Avenue and Western Avenue.
Drivers traveling between Van Nortwick and Western avenues should follow the posted detour to McKee Street, officials said, urging locals to plan for possible delays and consider alternate routes until work is complete.
