Winterfest Art Market: Date, Vendors, Live Music Revealed

Artisan vendors will be set up, and special activities will be planned, for three days at three locations in downtown Batavia.

BATAVIA, IL — Winterfest Art Market is returning to downtown Batavia Nov. 14-16 for a weekend packed with artisan vendors, live music and other special events.

Organizers Batavia MainStreet and Water Street Studios revealed the details for the event that celebrates local artists and makers. More than 55 vendors are slated to participate this year.

The market will span Water Street Studios and Kiss the Sky, plus 13 more vendors across the street at 139 First Street. Hours are set for 6-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Holy Pierogi will sell food throughout the weekend, and Chuck's Wood Fired Pizza will join them on Friday evening.

  • 6:30 p.m. Friday — Ben Schiltz
  • 4 p.m. Saturday — Noah Gabriel and Friend
  • 4 p.m. Sunday — Mario Duenas Trio

On Friday, these special events are planned:

  • Warehouse 55, at 160 First St., will be open late, until 9 p.m., allowing visitors to hunt for vintage finds, furniture and accessories in the nearly 8,000-square-foot warehouse.
  • Soul Studio will host an open house from 6-9 p.m. In addition to viewing the space, guests will have the chance to make snowflakes and sample mocktails.
