Witches Night Out: Tarot Readings, Costume Contest Planned

The upcoming event in downtown Batavia "promises even more enchantment" than previous years, organizers said.

BATAVIA, IL — Witches will once again fly to downtown Batavia Oct. 17 for magic and mystery as part of the annual Witches Night Out event.

The event, happening from 5-7:30 p.m., will feature tarot and intuitive readings, the opportunity to craft custom brooms, a costume contest, raffles, and specials at several stores and restaurants.

In 2024, "hundreds of witches" joined the event for an evening of shopping and enchantment, organizers said. This year "promises even more enchantment," according to organizers.
