Marist Seniors Commit To Colleges And Universities In First Round Of Signing Ceremonies
Marist seniors from Beverly, Alsip, Orland, Evergreen Park, Palos and Oak Lawn sign letters of intent to continue academic-athletic careers

CHICAGO — Twelve Marist High School seniors from the class of 2026 committed to compete in athletics at the college or university of their choice during a signing ceremony earlier this week. The event confirmed their plans to continue their academic and athletic careers at the college level.
The student athletes hail from alma mater grammar schools, including Christ the King, Most Holy Redeemer, St. Barnabas, St. Catherine of Alexandria, St. Daniel the Prophet, St. Michael and St. John Fisher. Other schools represented included Independence Junior High, Morgan Park Academy and James Hart Junior High.
Surrounded by family, coaches, and teammates, each student-athlete announced and signed their letter of intent, marking a proud milestone in their athletic journey.

“Signing Day is one of the most exciting events of the year for our athletics program,” Marist Athletic Director Pat Fleming ’98, said in a news release. “These student-athletes have shown tremendous dedication and leadership both on the field and in the classroom, and we are proud to see them represent Marist at the next level.”
