Candlelight Vigil and Community Search Party Planned For Dan Davis, Now Missing 2 Weeks
115 Bourbon Street will host a candlelight vigil for missing employee Dan Davis, 59, with a community search party to follow Tuesday, Dec. 9

MERRIONETTE PARK, IL — A candlelight vigil will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9, for employee Dan Davis, 59, who went missing in the early morning hours of Nov. 25 after a car accident when he is believed to have suffered a head injury.
The vigil will start at 6 p.m. at 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th St., Merrionette Park. Immediately following, there will be a community search party, with specific areas to look and fliers.
Davis’s daughter, Wendy, has also talked to a second private investigator, who said he was impressed by the highly organized search and community engagement, according to the latest update on the FIND DAN DAVIS Facebook page. Wendy Davis has been leading the search for her father.

A cadaver dog from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office was out Monday searching certain locations in Blue Island, but thankfully, did not alert. Similarly, a bloodhound went to Orchards and Western Avenue In Blue Island, the location of an unconfirmed sighting on Dec. 3. The dog did not alert.
The candlelight vigil allows neighbors and volunteers to come together in faith, hope, and unity for Dan Davis and his safe return home. Immediately following the vigil, there will be a community search party for Dan.

The service will also be available via live stream, but people are strongly encouraged everyone who can to attend in person. There is power in standing together as a community.
