Resource for Illinois Residents With Insurance Questions

Residents with insurance questions  can get help from a statewide, toll- free resource according to State Representative Bill Cunningham. THe Illinois Insurance Hotline, an industry sponsored consumer service, assists thousands of people each year with a variety of matters.

 Many contact the Illinois Insurance Hotline as they shop for insurance. Consultants routinely provide financial strength ratings and complaint record information on prospective insurers.  Consumers also contact the Hotline for insight into the claim process, insurance company contact numbers and more.  Educational materials on auto, homeowners, life and health insurance topics are also available.

State Representative Bill Cunningham noted, “The Illinois Insurance Hotline does not sell insurance. Consultants provide information that consumers can use to make informed decisions about insurance matters.”
