While food pantries receive an uptick in donation during the holiday months, their clients rely on them for support all year round.
Two local elected officials are currently running a food drive to support the Maple Morgan Park Food Pantry.
State Sen. Bill Cunningham and State Rep. Fran Hurley are asking residents to bring any donations of non-perishable food items to their office at 10400 S. Western Ave. between now and June 24.
