Organized by the Chicago Tribune, “Chicago’s Top Workplaces” honors companies with “a people-centered culture.” To be considered, organizations had to first be nominated by an employee. After that, employees completed a workplace satisfaction survey. Companies were ranked based on employee responses.

“There is a powerful spirit among the staff here and a commitment to working together as a team,” says Lachowicz. “New employees and residents are impressed by our friendly and welcoming staff. That spirit is vital to our community’s success. There is a direct correlation between the happiness of our staff and residents’ happiness.”
