2 Days Of Lane Closures Expected On Boughton For Fiber Optic Work

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Lane closures are scheduled for Thursday and Friday on Boughton Road for fiber optic installation, the Village of Bolingbrook shared.

There will be eastbound and westbound right lane closures on Boughton Road, at the Interstate 355 interchange. The Village said Meade Electric will be performing a fiber optic installation along the west side of the southbound entrance and exit ramps and boring under Boughton Road as part of a utility contract with the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority.

The limits of the eastbound Boughton Road right lane closure will be between Janes Avenue and the I-355 southbound entrance ramp, according to the Village. The limits of the westbound Boughton Road right lane closure will extend from the I-355 southbound exit ramp to Janes Avenue.

Both lane closures are scheduled to be in place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
