BOLINGBROOK, IL — Three people were injured and were taken to a local hospital after Bolingbrook police were called to a local park early Sunday morning after a report of shots fired, police said Sunday.

The three were all at an after-hours gathering at the park in the 800 block of Remington Boulevard and were leaving when shots were fired, police said. Police said the large gathering of people was not authorized to be in the park.
