Bolingbrook Birthday Boy Receives Police Escort To School, Reception
Wood View Elementary kindergartner Joshua Duncan took a ride as part of an auction prize from Valley View Educational Enrollment Foundation.
BOLINGBROOK, IL – A lucky Bolingbrook kindergartener recently rode to school in style as part of an auction item that landed Joshua Duncan not only unique transportation but a large welcoming committee when he arrived.
Joshua was the recipient of the birthday ride as part of an auction item offered by the Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation. Joshua, who attends Wood View Elementary School, was taken to school by a Bolingbrook Police vehicle on Monday, which was his birthday.
Photos provided by the Bolingbrook Police Department showed Joshua posing for photos with police officers as well as him arriving at a school and being welcomed by friends and classmates.
