BOLINGBROOK, IL — Just in time for the first Wednesday night summer concert of the year, the Village of Bolingbrook held a ribbon cutting to celebrate its new pavilion behind Town Center.

The permanent pavilion is thanks to funds secured by State Rep. Natalie Manley and State Sen. Meg Loughran Cappel, according to the Village. The ribbon cutting was held on Wednesday evening behind Town Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road.

The Village Board approved the construction of the pavilion last year, for a cost of $841,161. The Village received a grant for the project.
