Bolingbrook HS Student Participates In U.S. Senate Page Program

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook High School junior Miriam Tsegay is one of just 30 students across the country that is participating in the U.S. Senate page program this semester, according to a release from the District.
Miriam's application was sponsored by Senator Tammy Duckworth.
The duties of the page includes delivering legislative material in the Capitol and Senate office buildings, preparing the Chamber for Senate sessions, and working on the Senate floor where they provide assistance during roll call votes, support senators and staff during debates, and carry bills and amendments to the desk, the District said.
