Bolingbrook Homicide Investigation: No Suspects Located Yet
Bolingbrook Police said officers responded to Preston Drive at 8:29 p.m. Thursday for a report of a person shot.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A 38-year-old Bolingbrook man was pronounced dead on Thursday at Bolingbrook hospital as the result of an apparent homicide, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.
The coroner's office identified the man as Terrell Johnson, who was pronounced dead at 9:19 p.m. Thursday at the UChicago Medicine Advent Health Bolingbrook Hospital.
Bolingbrook Police said officers responded to Preston Drive at 8:29 p.m. Thursday for a report of a person shot. Officers found an unresponsive man, now identified as Johnson, with apparent gunshot wounds and began medical aid.

Paramedics took over, and took Johnson to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Police said no suspects have been located, however "early indications are that the incident involved acquaintances and is not a random act."

The coroner's office said an autopsy was performed on Friday, and the final cause and manner of death will be determined following autopsy, police and toxicological report.
