Bolingbrook Plans Arbor Day Celebration On Saturday
The annual celebration will kick off with a tree planting ceremony at 10 a.m. at Bulldog Park.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook will celebrate Arbor Day on Saturday with a festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind Town Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road.
The annual celebration will first kick off with a tree planting ceremony at 10 a.m. at Bulldog Park, 351 Blair Lane. Festivities will then move to behind Town Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be free hot dogs and water, games, prizes, drawings, expert planting advice, tree giveaways and a community shred event, according to the event page.

The Village of Bolingbrook has been a Tree City USA Community for 34 years, and has received the Growth Award for 31 years, according to the Village.
