Bolingbrook Police Receive Report of Suspicious Person Near a School
Bolingbrook police said they are investigating the report of a suspicious person trying to lure a high school student into a vehicle near Creekside Drive and Lily Cache Lane.

"We are still investigating the validity of this," Bolingbrook Lt. Michael Rompa said.

“(We’re) obviously taking every call of this nature with extreme seriousness,” Rompa said.
He added it is an “isolated incident at this time.”

In the March 5 incident, police said a white man around age 50 was driving in his car when he tried to get the attention of two juvenile girls walking on the sidewalk at about 3 p.m. near Blackberry and Orchard drives. After the man repeatedly asked them to get into the vehicle with him, police said the girls fled to a nearby home where they contacted an adult, who returned them to their home.
