Bolingbrook Votes 'Yes' on Electric Aggregation
The ballot measure will allow the Will County Governmental League to try to broker cheaper power rates for Bolingbrook residents.

was one of more than 20 communities with a referendum question on the March 20 ballot asking voters to vote yes or no on electric aggregation.
On Tuesday, the majority of voters said yes, allowing the Will County Governmental League to accept bids from ComEd competitors by bundling the electric loads of households in communities that passed the ballot measure.

Editor's Note: Results will not be final until April 10, when canvassing of votes is completed, along with tabulations for absentee, provisional and grace period ballots.
