Bolingbrook Will Shift To New Waste Management Provider In May

Oakbrook Terrace's Flood Brothers Disposal is filling the village garbage and recycling contract and offers residents two pickup options.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook will be moving to a waste services management company next month, which will provide local residents with a choice in how they dispose of their garbage and recycling.

The Village announced on Wednesday that beginning May 1, Oakbrook Terrace-based Flood Brothers Disposal will handle waste management duties for local residents. Flood Brothers will replace Groot Industries and village officials said that services will be similar to the new provider.

The new waste management contact allows residents to choose if they will continue to use bags at the curb or to rent a garbage and recycling cart from Flood Brothers, for a rental fee of $2.50 per month for both garbage and recycling, village officials said Wednesday.
