BOLINGBROOK, IL — A 26-year-old Bolingbrook woman kicked a police officer in the face during an arrest on Wednesday for a 2023 warrant, according to the Bolingbrook Police Department.

Bolingbrook Police said officers responded to the 300 block of North Schmidt Road at 1:51 p.m. Oct. 9 for a report of a woman throwing items at a car and a window of a business. Officers found Daja Blount, who "became confrontational," police said.

Blount "had been previously trespassed" from the property after a June incident where she urinated in the parking lot, police said. Blount also had a no-bond warrant out of Will County from a 2023 aggravated battery to a peace officer case.
