Boys Soccer: Raiders 'Cruze' Past University in Windy City Consolation Game

Alex Cruz scored three goals and three other Raiders notched helpers as the boys soccer team sailed to a 3-1 victory over University High Tuesday.

Ten minutes later, Cruz added his second tally. This time, on nifty give-and-go with sophomore forward Hugo Lopez. Cruz would add his third goal late in the second half on a head-ball pass from senior defenseman Chizobam Nkemeh.

Bolingbrook (3-1) senior goalkeeper Franky Luna saved five of six shots he faced on the night.
