Car Stolen From Bolingbrook Business, Police Say
Two sets of keys and a Nissan Pathfinder were taken from a business on Oct. 16.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A car was taken from a Bolingbrook business, according to police. In the instance, a thief or set of thieves took two sets of keys from the business and made off with a Nissan Pathfinder.
It happened between 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 at a business in the 400 block of West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook Police said in a press release. Police did not specify what business was the victim of the theft.
The crime incident was one of several included in the Bolingbrook Police Department's weekly crime blotter, covering Oct. 17-23. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Here are the other incidents that took place over that period:
- Oct. 16: An Iphone was taken while the victim was shopping at Wal-Mart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr., between 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Loss valued at $1000.
- Oct. 17: Xavier Cowan, 30, of Naperville, was charged with a DUI and failure to yield, following a traffic stop at Schmidt. Rd. & Boughton Rd. at 1:32 am.
- Oct. 17: Several vehicles parked on the 200 block of Gettysburg Dr. were rummaged through sometime overnight. A key FOB and cell phone were taken.
- Oct. 18: Latonya Neal, 47, of Bolingbrook, was charged with DUI, failure to signal and illegal transportation of alcohol, following a traffic stop at Winston Rd. & Porter Ln. at 2:55 am.
- Oct. 18: Several vehicles parked on the 500-600 block of Barclay Dr. were rummaged through sometime overnight. A wallet, Apple watch, Ipad & Macbook were taken.
- Oct. 18: Officers responded to the 300 block of E. Crossroads Pkwy for the report of a theft. Unknown subjects cut a seal to trailer and attempted to remove contents at 3:55 am.
- Oct. 18: A wallet was removed from an unsecured vehicle parked on the 200 block of Lincolnshire Ln. sometime overnight.
- Oct. 19: Officers were called to the 1500 block of Woodland Ln. for the report of a residential burglary. The front door frame was damaged and a wedding ring was missing. Loss valued at $2000.
- Oct. 19 A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with theft from motor vehicle, criminal trespass to vehicle, possession of stolen property, no valid driver’s license, no insurance, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, three counts of failure to report an accident, too fast for conditions, unattended motor vehicle and driving on a sidewalk, following a call to the area of Carlyle Ln. after a vehicle drove into the residence at 7:52 am. The vehicle was reported stolen from the 700 block of Hartford Ln.
- Oct. 20: Officers responded to a business on the 300 block of Royce Rd. for the report of a theft. A hole was cut in the fence to gain entry and copper wire was taken between 2:32 am – 4:34 am.
- Oct. 20: A Kia Soul was taken from a driveway on the 100 block of Nottingham Dr. sometime overnight.
- Oct. 21: Katrina Warfield, 26, of Romeoville, was charged with retail theft from Target, 1188 W. Boughton Rd., at 1:00 pm.
- Oct. 21: James Gaston, 28, 452 Salk Ln., was charged with DUI, traffic sign violation, improper lane usage, driving on a suspended license, no insurance, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and resisting a peace officer, following a traffic stop on the 400 block of W. Boughton Rd. at 1:21 am.
- Oct. 22: A 2020 Traverse was taken from the parking lot on the 100 block of N. Schmidt Rd. between 8:30 am – 7:03 pm. The vehicle was later located on the 300 block of DuPage Dr. A tablet was missing.
