BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook police were asking motorists to avoid the area after a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle Friday night at westbound Boughton Road and Preston Drive. Police said the crash happened at 8:22 p.m. and remains under investigation. Lanes were closed in both directions. This is a developing story. Check back with Patch for updates.
