Disabled Semi Truck Blocks Southbound Lanes Of Veterans Parkway

BOLINGBROOK, IL – Local drivers experienced delays on the southbound lane of Veterans Parkway blocked because of a disabled semi tractor-trailer for a short period of time Wednesday afternoon, Bolingbrook Police said.

The truck was disabled at the South Frontage Road of I-55 which has disabled sound-bound lanes and police asked motorists to avoid the area if possible and to take an alternate route due to the obstruction.

Police later reported around 5:30 p.m. that the truck had been removed and that traffic was back moving again as normal after the temporary delays.
