Failed Cocaine Test Puts Alleged Husband Slayer Back in Jail
She turned up dirty for cocaine but will get another shot to pass the test Thursday.

A woman free on bond while she awaits trial on charges she stabbed her husband to death was sent back to jail after she tested positive for cocaine prior to a Wednesday morning court hearing.
Alleged murderer Michele Evans, 52, was ordered to submit to random drug testing last month. She failed a test prior to appearing before Judge David Carlson and her $1 million bond was revoked.
Evans was scheduled to appear in court again Thursday and will get another chance to pass a drug test. According to the website Health Street, cocaine clears out of the human body relatively quickly.

“Typically, a single usage in a person with average metabolism remains present and detectable in the urine for around three to five days,” Health Street says.
Evans was arrested after she allegedly thrust a knife into the chest of her husband, 55-year-old David Evans, at their Bloomfield Drive home in April 2015. David Evans died about five hours later at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
