Girls Basketball: Bolingbrook Finishes 9th in Nike Tournament
Lady Raiders finish with a 3-1 record in Phoenix.

It may not be the results it was looking for, but the girls basketball team escaped the with a respectable 3-1 record.
Unfortunately for Lady Raiders, that loss came in the tournament's first round against , which sent Bolingbrook to the consolation bracket. There, the Lady Raiders railed off three-straight victories, including a 72-61 win over Irvin MacArthur on Thursday to claim a 9th place finish.
The win caps a somewhat disappointing tournament for the Lady Raiders. Before the season started, many on the team said they were . And while that is still a possibility, sweeping the field in the Nike tournament would have made the journey a heck of a lot easier.

Instead, the Lady Raides will likely have to win-out the rest of the season to win a national championship.
That trek begins Dec. 29 in Mason, OH, where Bolingbrook takes on St. Mary's. The Lady Raiders won't play again in Illinois until Jan. 5, when the team takes on Homewood-Flossmoor.
