Gr2IT Hosts First Wellness And Education Conference In Bolingbrook
The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 25, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 26.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Local organization Gr2IT will host its first Wellness and Education conference in Bolingbrook on Oct. 24-26.
The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 24 and 25, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 26, at the Bolingbrook Community Center, 201 Canterbury Lane.
According to the organization, the conference will feature invited talks, papers and workshops addressing a wide range of topics related to education and wellness across the lifespan and in multiple contexts. The is open to educators, psychologists, counselors, health services providers, wellness providers/coaches, community partners and organizations, students and members of the public.

The mission of the conference is to "provide a forum for educators and providers of health and wellness services to share scholarship, ideas and innovation," the organization said.
Gr2IT offers social-emotional learning curriculum and "addresses modern issues for children."
