Great Steaks to Close Storefront This Month, Focus on Online Sales
The store's last day at the Bolingbrook location will be Feb. 20.

After nearly five years in business in Bolingbrook, is closing its storefront.
The last day at the Weber Road location will be Feb. 20.
Great Steaks is the retail outlet for , which is headquartered in Bolingbrook.

“We call it a moving sale,” said Edgar Reilly of Quantum Foods. “We’re moving from the physical location to an online environment. It’s a continuation of the business but not in the brick and mortar fashion as it’s been in the past.”
The Great Steaks grocery store offers varying sizes of different steaks, as well as pork, chicken and seafood. There are also grilling utensils, marinades and dressings.

At the State of the Village address earlier this month, Mayor Roger Claar lauded the store.
“You will not be sorry you went in there,” he said. “I can almost guarantee you’ll walk out with something."
Currently all the store’s items are on sale, marked down 30-60 percent.
Reilly lauds the support of the Bolingbrook community.
"Our online store will continue to be based in Bolingbrook," he said. "Although we find it necessary to move out of our retail store, our products, people and shipments will all still be based in Bolingbrook."
