The Mustangs (18-2) meet Summit Hill at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Homer Junior High with the winner advancing to the state quarterfinals.

Addams held the Bulldogs (15-4) to two baskets over an 11-minute stretch in the first half to turn an early 6-4 deficit into an insurmountable 28-13 halftime lead. At one point Roosevelt missed 18 straight shots and turned the ball over 10 times.

Devon Sams (15 points) and Terrence Williams (13 points) led the Mustangs in scoring but it was a team offensive effort as well.  Trey Mack scored 8 points and grabbed seven rebounds, Antowine Locke added five points and three assists and Tuf Borland hit five free throws and hauled in seven rebounds. Frasean Isom hit one bucket.

Borland and Locke each had three steals.

Other team members are Javon Bell, Xavier Davis, Elliot English, Jaylen Griffin, Mike Reetz, Trenton Roberson and Alex West. Josh Gage is the head coach.
