The artwork is whimsical and highlights the native flora and fauna of Will County, she added.
“The exhibit is a perfect fit for Hidden Oaks because the works are incredibly playful and have the ability to embrace diversity,” Opiola said. “People of all ages and backgrounds can appreciate these iconic pieces because the more you observe, the more you notice in the designs.”
Opiola said Harper’s artwork will appeal to the artist, naturalist, animal lover, scientist, architect and mathematician in all of us.
“I really enjoy how attractive his pieces are, but mostly I enjoy how he beautifully combines both art and nature with geometry, reducing very complicated scenes into basic imaginative shapes, all while keeping the integrity and charisma of the subject. What talent! Come see it for yourself!”
