Johansen Farms Opens Pumpkin Farm On Sept. 15

BOLINGBROOK, IL — With fall quickly approaching, Johansen Farms in Bolingbrook has announced it will open Sept. 15 for its pumpkin farm and petting zoo.

The farm, at 710 W. Boughton Road, has free parking and there is no charge to visit the pumpkin patch and the open market area. According to the farm, it has 25,000 pumpkins this season.

The petting zoo and attractions have a paid admission, according to the farm website. Admission price and hours vary, so check the farm's website.

In September, weekday prices are $15.95, and $13.95 for seniors. Weekend prices are $19.95 and $17.95 for seniors. Children 23 months and younger are free.

The farm closes for the season on Nov. 1.
