Lanes Closed On I-55 Due To Jackknifed Semi-Truck: Police

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A jackknifed semi-truck has caused lane closures on both sides of Interstate 55, according to Illinois State Police.

The truck hit the concrete median on I-55 northbound, just south of I-355, police said.

The left and middle lane of I-55 northbound are closed, and the left lane of I-55 southbound is also closed. Drivers should expect delays and seek an alternate route if possible.
