Mental Health, Wellness Awareness Event Planned In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook will host a mental health and wellness awareness event on May 15 at the Community Center, 201 Canterbury Lane, event organizers shared with Patch.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the event will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
"This event is designed to shed light on mental health and addictive disorders, aiming to destigmatize these conditions and empower our community with knowledge and resources," organizers said.

The event will include an educational session, expert panel, and resource expo. Light refreshments will be provided by 4 KIDS Sake.
"Whether you're looking to deepen your understanding, find support, or connect with others who share your interest in promoting mental wellness, this event is for you. Together, we can create a more informed, supportive, and resilient community," organizers said in a release.
