The Will County Children's Advocacy Center was founded in 1995 by State's Attorney James Glasgow to partner with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) comprised of law enforcement, DCFS investigators, medical personnel, prosecutors, and Will County CAC forensic interviewers, family advocates, and trauma therapists to respond to reports of severe physical abuse, sexual abuse, commercial exploitation, neglect, and exposure to violence of children, in Will County, Illinois.

Having lived in for more than 20 years, the Coopers are trying their hand at something new in 2012. The couple will open Coop's Den at 148 N. Boughton Rd., the building next door to the and former location of . The restaurant was granted a liquor license by the Bolingbrook village board earlier this month. Samantha Cooper, a Bolingbrook resident of 21 years and graduate of , said Coop's Den will be geared towards the 25-years-of-age and older crowd and will serve mostly American fare.  The restaurant is slated to open March 1.  Lawrence Cooper is also a BHS grad and resident for 15 years. He said both of their parents had owned bars so running a restaurant is a family gig.
