Obituary: Albert Borkowski, 89, of Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Albert Borkowski, age 89, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021.

Devoted son of the late Ryszard (late Helena); loving husband of 62 years of marriage to Phyllis, nee Fetzer, Borkowski; beloved father of Karen (Tom Gray) Borkowski, and Rick (Monica) Borkowski; adored grandfather of David and Kyle Madsen, Moriah Valadez, and Marissa Borokowski; cherished great-grandfather of Collin and Harper.

Albert was the oldest of, but last surviving of four siblings. He worked as an electrician with Local Union #134 for 30 years. Albert was a dedicated husband, and father, that took an active role in his kids' activities during their younger years.

Visitation Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 from 10 a.m. until time of closing prayers at 12 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois Street. Going in procession to Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont for interment.
