The Will County Children's Advocacy Center was founded in 1995 by State's Attorney James Glasgow to partner with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) comprised of law enforcement, DCFS investigators, medical personnel, prosecutors, and Will County CAC forensic interviewers, family advocates, and trauma therapists to respond to reports of severe physical abuse, sexual abuse, commercial exploitation, neglect, and exposure to violence of children, in Will County, Illinois.

The Bolingbrook Panthers eighth grade girls won their age bracket during the sixth annual Panther Shootout held last weekend. The Bolingbrook team defeated 43-31 the Chicago Hoops Express in the championship game played at Joliet Catholic Academy High School. Members of this year's eighth grade team are:Monica Barefield, DJ Daily, Nicole Ekhomu, Mia Farrell, Alyssa Fink, Morgan Jones, Kennadi Miller, Brittany Patrick, Karli Seay, Amber Watson, Kaitlyn Williams and Zaria Winkfield.
