The Will County Children's Advocacy Center was founded in 1995 by State's Attorney James Glasgow to partner with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) comprised of law enforcement, DCFS investigators, medical personnel, prosecutors, and Will County CAC forensic interviewers, family advocates, and trauma therapists to respond to reports of severe physical abuse, sexual abuse, commercial exploitation, neglect, and exposure to violence of children, in Will County, Illinois.

The outdoor park will open on May 25 for its 2024 summer season.The outdoor open swim is $12 for residents and $18 for nonresidents. The splash pad and zero-depth swim is $7 for residents and $8 for nonresidents. Hours may vary due to swim meets or other events; but outdoor open swim is generally noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.The outdoor complex offers a sand playground area, picnic area, family changing area, concession stand, lazy river, diving well, beach volleyball and more, according to the park district website.
