Police Blotter: Armed Robbery, Home Invasion and Residential Burglaries

Wednesday, Dec. 28
1. Residential burglaries
Police were called to the 606 building of Preston Drive for the report of two residential burglaries. Two apartments had the front doors forced open and TVs were taken between 8 a.m. and 3:39 p.m. Loss valued at $1,400.

2. Armed robbery
Police were called to the 600 block of Blackhawk Lane for a report of an armed robbery. A juvenile was walking along the road when they were approached by two unknown subjects and pepper sprayed and punched in the face. The subjects took off with an iPod and ran off at 3:15 p.m.

3. Home invasion
A rear door was forced open to a home on the 200 block of Cedarwood Avenue between Dec. 26 and Dec. 28. Several rooms were rummaged through but nothing appeared to have been taken.
Thursday, Dec. 22
4. Retail theft
Georgina Oduro, 53, and Frances Odonkor, 31, both of Fernwood Drive, were charged with retail theft at Macy’s, located at 645 E. Boughton Rd., at 8:09 p.m.
