Tuesday, March 20

Stolen purses

Five purses were stolen from a business between noon and 4 p.m. in the 1800 block of Apple Valley Drive. Reports state the loss is $440.

Vehicle burglary

A purse was stolen from a vehicle between 6:45 and 8 p.m. in the 200 block of South Schmidt Road. Reports state a brick was used to break the vehicle window.

Vehicle tagged with spray paint

A vehicle was spray-painted and duct tape was found on the doors between March 19 and March 20 in the 1400 block of West Briarcliff Road.

DUI

Mario Terrezas, 46, 1013 W. Briarcliff Road, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to signal at 2:24 a.m. following a traffic stop at Briarcliff Road and Orchard Drive.

Assault charge

Alex Vargas – Nunez, 23, 305 Woodcreek Drive, was charged with assault following a call to the residence for a disturbance at 9:25 p.m.

Obstructing justice

Mario Noble, 27, 641 Sundance Drive, was charged with obstructing justice and driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop at 9:17 p.m. at Bolingbrook Drive and Barbers Corner.

Vehicle vandalized with cotton balls, gasoline

A vehicle’s top was cut and numerous cotton balls smelling of gasoline were placed inside between 1:30 and 11 a.m. in the 200 block of Pacific Drive.

Wednesday, March 21

DVDs stolen from Walmart

Several DVDs, valued at $1,300, were stolen at 1:08 p.m. from Walmart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive. Reports state witnesses saw two suspects fleeing the store with the merchandise.

Thursday, March 22

Vehicle window broken

Someone broke the window of a vehicle between March 21 and March 22 in the 600 block of Pontiac Lane.
