Police Blotter: Homeowners Tied Up in Armed Home Burglary
Bolingbrook police reports, Nov. 17-18.
Friday, Nov. 18
1. DUI
Bridget Ventura, 24, of the 10600 block of South Lockwood Avenue of Oak Lawn, was charged with DUI at the intersection of Bradford Place and Quail Run at 1:39 a.m.

2. Theft of lost property
Deshon Moore, 28, of the 400 block of Blair Lane, was charged with theft of lost property, driving on a suspended license and improper backing following a traffic stop at the intersection of Navajo Court and Seminole Lane at 11:04 p.m.

3. Warrant
Edward House III, 36, of the first block of Wildwood Lane, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop on the 400 block of West Boughton Road at 1:45 a.m.
4. Stolen game systems
A Playstation 3 and a Wii game system were taken from a home on the 500 block of Pinebrook Drive between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
5. Damaged front door
A front door was damaged while attempting to gain entry to a home on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive. The peep hole was removed between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
6. Home window broken
A home window was broken on the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive at 2:17 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 17
7. Retail theft
Aaron Jones, 21, of the 100 block of North Vincent Drive, was charged with retail theft at 7-Eleven, located at 398 S. Schmidt Rd., at 5:17 p.m.
8. Garage theft
A purse and wallet were stolen from a car parked in a garage on the 300 block of Evening Star Court between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
9. Car burglary
A GPS unit, several CDs, a jacket, ID and set of keys were taken from a car parked on the 1100 block of Collingwood Lane between Nov. 16 and Nov. 17.
10. Burglars tie up homeowners
Police were called to the 1000 block of Bothwell Court for the report of a home invasion. A victim told police that two unknown subjects knocked on the door trying to get invited in. They then kicked in the door displayed a handgun, bound the victims’ ankles and wrists, duct taped their mouths and took a 43-inch TV, 32-inch TV, Dell laptop, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and various video games at 10:15 p.m.
11. Car burglary
An XM radio face plate was taken from a car parked on the 100 block of Enclave Court between Nov. 13 and Nov. 17.
