Police Blotter: Man Arrested After Found Hiding in Closet

Bolingbrook police reports, Aug. 11-12.

Friday, Aug. 12

1. DUI

Christopher Landreth, 24, of the 1200 block of Brandywine Avenue in Batavia, was charged with speeding, driving on a suspended license and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Naperville Road at 8:36 p.m.

2. Assault

Brian Gangstad, 30, of the 400 block of Yorkshire Square, was charged with assault, resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct on the 400 block of Yorkshire Square at 5:08 a.m.

3. Warrant

Marian Quiroz, 27, of the 200 block of Karen Circle, was charged with an in-state warrant, driving on a suspended license and speeding following a traffic stop at the intersection of Rockhurst Road and Ashbury Drive at 1:15 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 11

4. Man arrested after hiding in closet

Nicholas Kugach, 28, of the 200 block of Green Mountain Drive, was charged with criminal trespass to residence and disorderly conduct after the homeowner found him hiding in a closet at 10:30 p.m.

5. Teen charged with aggravated assault

A 13-year-old juvenile was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful use of a weapon and disorderly conduct at the intersection of Orchard Drive and Blackberry Circle at 6:55 p.m.

6. Man charged with littering after alleged large fight

Devon Moody, 20 of the 200 block of Blackberry Drive, was charged with resisting a peace officer and littering after a call to the area for a large group fight at 7:31 p.m.
