Police Blotter: Man Arrested for Endangering the Life of a Child

1. Man arrested after suspicious person call

Julio Arrieta, 25, of the 1400 block of Aster Lane, was charged with resisting a peace officer and obstructing justice following a suspicious person call to the area of Pinecrest Road and Assembly Drive at 2:27 a.m.

2. Endangering the life of a child

Javier Pedroza, 32, of the 200 block of Charlotte Lane, was charged with resisting a peace officer and endangering the life of a child on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive at 9:45 p.m.

3. Purse taken from car

A purse was stolen from an unlocked car parked on the 200 block of North Weber Road between 11 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Loss valued at $60.

4. Wallet taken from car

A wallet was taken from the front seat of a car parked on the 1100 block of Quail Run at 12 a.m.

5. Car spray painted

A car was spray painted, its bumper kicked in and scratched. The incident occurred at 12 a.m. on the 500 block of East Briarcliff Road. Damage valued at $1,000.

6. Home spray painted

A street light, a stop sign and the side of a home was spray painted on the 500 block of East Briarcliff Road. Damage valued at $700.

7. Attempted break in

Police were called to the 100 block of Wedgewood Way for the report of an attempted break in. The homeowner told police they saw two unknown subjects attempt to push in a rear window, but the subjects ran off when the homeowners knocked on the window at 1:55 p.m. The screen to the window was found cut.

8. DUI

Jon Bukovsky, 58, of the 100 block of Fairwood Drive, was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on the 300 block of South Bolingbrook Drive at 8:30 a.m.

9. Stolen trailer

A 1998 white Wabash trailer was taken from the parking lot on the 500 block of West North Frontage Road at 9:30 p.m.
