Police Blotter: Man on Bicycle Exposes Himself Before Riding Off

Bolingbrook police reports, Nov. 11-13.

Sunday, Nov. 13

1. DUI

Travis Bennett, 41, of the 700 block of Evergreen Court in Romeoville, was charged with DUI and a moving violation on the 1000 block of Windham Parkway at 11:33 p.m.

2. Air conditioner stolen

An air conditioning unit was removed from a home on the 200 block of Andover Court between Nov. 6 and Nov. 13. Loss valued at $1,500.

3. Art stolen from car

A leather bag containing numerous pieces of art work was taken from an unlocked car parked on the 600 block of Preston Drive between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

4. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 200 block of Glendale Drive for the report of a residential burglary. A victim told police they saw two unknown subjects enter their car in the garage. When confronted, the subjects were startled and dropped a DVD player and ran off at 7:22 p.m.

5. Stolen purse

A purse was taken from a business on the 500 block of South Pinecrest Drive at 1 a.m. loss valued at $100.

Saturday, Nov. 12

6. Theft

Sean Bitto, 27, of the 700 block of Dexter Avenue in Romeoville, was charged with theft at the 7-Eleven at 398 S. Schmidt Rd., at 11:07 p.m.

7. Residential burglary

Police were called to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive for the report of a residential burglary. A homeowner told police they returned home at 7:08 p.m. and discovered a screen cut; a Playstation 3 and controllers, a Wii game system, several movies, Kinect game system were taken. Loss valued at $700.

8. Man exposes himself

Police were called to the 500 block of West Boughton Road for the report of an unknown man exposing himself. The man then rode off on a bicycle at 2:01 p.m.

9. Warrant

Felicia Croswell, 25, of the 800 block of Beech Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 53 and Brook Court at 9:58 p.m.

10. Shed theft

A lawnmower, mountain bike, weed eater and leaf blower were taken from a shed on the 200 block of Northridge Avenue between Nov. 11 and Nov. 12. Loss valued at $400.

11. Theft

Devante Diggins, 20, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, was charged with theft after he allegedly took a cell phone from a car in Lot V of Fernwood Drive at 10:24 p.m.

12. Retail theft

Diana Escobedo, 28, of the 200 block of Pell Avenue in Romeoville, was charged with retail theft at Target, located at 1188 W. Boughton Rd., at 6:55 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 11

13. Theft

Two lawnmowers, two bicycles and a patio umbrella were taken from a shed on the 800 block of Brompton Circle between 7 a.m. and 2:36 p.m. Loss valued at more than $450.

14. Warrant

Robert Berry, 37, of the 300 block of Falconridge Way, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at the intersection of Ashbury Road and Charlotte Court at 11:11 p.m.

15. Theft

Daniel Zebell, 25, of the 6300 block of Sunset Drive in Panama City, FL, was charged with theft on the 800 block of Beech Drive at 6:30 a.m.

16. Stolen GPS

A GPS unit and cell phone were taken from an unlocked car parked on the 900 block of West Briarcliff Road between 10:15 p.m. and 10:24 p.m.
