Wednesday, Jan. 4
Retail theft
Cody Sneed, 18, of River Road in Warrenville, and Sean Murphy, 18, of Durham Drive in Wheaton, were both charged with retail theft at Meijer, located at 755 E. Boughton Rd. at 7:05 p.m.

Rented car never returned
A 2011 Nissan was rented from Hurtz, at 550 S. Bolingbrook Dr., was never returned.

Tuesday, Jan. 3
Patio furniture stolen
A lock was cut to a trailer parked on the 500 block of South Bolingbrook Drive and patio furniture was removed between 5:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Stolen wallet
A wallet was taken from a shopping cart at Fiesta Market, located at 160 N. Bolingbrook Dr., at 5 p.m. Loss valued at $80.
Sunday, Jan. 1
DUI
Darren Yates, 20, of the 1700 block of Maroon Bells, was charged with improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed and two counts of DUI following a traffic stop on the 500 block of Remington Boulevard at 3:47 a.m.
