Police Blotter: Sex Offender Violation, DUI, Alcohol Stolen From Meijer

Sex offender violation

Deborah Coulombe, 58, 7394 Woodward Ave., Woodridge, was charged with a sex offender violation at 5:42 p.m. in the 300 block of Briarcliff Road.

Alcohol stolen from Meijer

Two bottles of alcohol, valued at $78, were stolen at 2:40 p.m. from Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road.

Residential burglary

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with residential burglary after a witness saw the subject exit a garage with tools and a laptop at 5:31 p.m. from a home in the 2100 block of Mark Circle.

Amp, speaker part stolen from vehicle

A subwoofer and amp, valued together at $350, were stolen from a vehicle between 7 and 11 p.m. in the 1200 block of Remington Boulevard. Reports state a window was broken to gain access into the vehicle.

DUI charged

Rutal Patel, 39, 176 Michigan Ct., Bloomingdale, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, failure to yield and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle at 7:15 p.m. following a traffic stop at Route 53 and Beaconridge Drive.
