Bus spray painted

A bus was spray painted with graffiti on the door and sides between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

1. Stolen purse

A purse was taken from the front seat of a car parked on the 600 block of Cochise Circle between Aug. 23 and Aug. 24.

Monday, Aug. 22

2. Warrant

Rolando Perez Jr., 19, of the 400 block of Colony Court, was charged with an in-state warrant following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and Brighton Road at 10:43 p.m.

3. Theft

Police responded to a business on the 400 block of North Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a theft. An employee told police they found the store’s safe open and money was taken sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Loss valued at $519.

4. Graffiti

Graffiti was written on an electrical pole at Blackhawk Lane.

5. Rock thrown through business window

Two juveniles were charged with criminal damage to property after they threw a rock through a business window on the 100 block of West Boughton Road at 10:34 p.m.

6. Stolen iPhone

An Apple iPhone and taken from a table at a business on the 100 block of West Briarcliff Road between 7 p.m. and 7:19 p.m. Loss valued at $500.
