Police Blotter: Teens Push Shopping Carts Into Cars
Bolingbrook police reports, Aug. 27-28.
Sunday, Aug. 28
1. Identity theft
Deborah Gibson, 54, of the 500 block of Cambridge Way, was charged with identity theft, theft and credit card fraud on the 300 block of Briarcliff Road at 10:35 a.m.

2. Air duct cleaner stolen from car
A door lock was punched to a vehicle parked on the 800 block of Metropolitan Lane between Aug. 27 and Aug. 28. An air duct cleaner and an upholstery cleaner were taken. Loss valued at $6,500.

3. Teens busted for pushing shopping carts into cars
Police were called to the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive for the report of teens pushing shopping carts into cars and a stop sign. Steven Wawczak, 19, of the 200 block of Hadleigh Road, was charged with disorderly conduct and Andrew Stevens, 19, of the 200 block of Campbell Drive, was charged with criminal damage to property at 1:47 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 27
4. Credit cards stolen from a locker
A lock was cut to a locker on the 200 block of Lindsey Lane between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. A wallet containing numerous credit cards and a set of keys were taken.
5. Wallet snatched from shopping cart
A wallet was taken from a shopping cart at Food 4 Less, located at 271 S. Bolingbrook Dr., at 4 p.m.
Juvenile shatters car window with rock
A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with criminal damage to property after throwing a rock at a car windshield causing it to shatter at 1:50 p.m.
6. DUI
Adam Kistler, 28, of the 100 block of Grove Court, was charged with DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of Lily Cache Lane and Raider Way at 4:34 a.m.
7. Warrants
Karen Oberoi, 33, of the 300 block of Whitewater Drive, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and two in-state warrants at 6:23 a.m.
8. Cell phone taken from basketball court
A $500 cell phone was taken from the basketball court on the 800 block of Remington Boulevard between 8 p.m. and 9:20 p.m.
